The making of "Times Tells Tales" began in Dec of 2001.  Tony recorded " Tin Roofs"  and " Hold Your Hand" at Scott and Jen's studio  in a few sessions.  Their influence is all over the record! Their latest release "5 by 5" is absolutely tremendous! It's one of Tony's favorites.

Patty Reese has been a favorite of the Washington / Baltimore music scene and of Tony's for years. She sang on " Naked and Smiling" and on  " Time Tells Tales ". Patty's CDs rock!!!

Gantt Kushner recorded most of "Time Tells Tales" at his Gizmo Recording Studios and played on nearly every track on both of Tony's records. Tonys sound owes much of its character to Gantt's talents and input.

Ray Tilkens engineered & performs on both CDs. Most of the rhythm tracks at his Ambience Recording Studio. His extraordinary guitar playing truly stands out on Naked and Smiling.

Timm's irreplicable grooves are a fundamental element in "Time Tells Tales" They started working together back in July 2002. Tony recorded 'Home for Christmas' at Timm's studio in Nashville in between Timm's tour dates with Nils Lofgren.

Michael " Gedown" Brown. He was pivitol in the production of Naked and Smiling and appears all over the record!

Matt McConnville sings on "Michelle" , His harmonies and " end of the tune scatting" really help give the tune a unique signature. Matt has been an inspiring friend, introducing Tony to many of the talents that apear on Times Tells Tales.  It's hard to say what the record would have wound up sounding like but for the friends Tony has made through Matt. He's  a true ally & outstanding songwriter.

Mary Byrd Brown sings on " Hold Your Hand" . She is a wonderfully talented singer/songwriter with a great discography. If you love great songs, singing and guitar playing you'll love Mary. And the job she did on this record will bring tears to your eyes.

Meg Murray sings on "She Ought to Know". Meg has a huge range as a vocal artist and large body of work that showcases her great songwriting and classic voice.
